Our Process

Inquiry

We’ll ask you to complete a brief questionnaire, share photos and measurements of your space, and provide a few inspiration images or Pinterest boards. Don’t worry—it’s simple, and we’ll guide you every step of the way.

Design Prep

Now it’s our turn. We’ll develop a design concept, create a floor plan or 3D model, and present a mood board for your review. You’ll have the final say, with full freedom to provide feedback or request adjustments. From there, we’ll begin exploring the pieces that best fit your space.

Mix & Source

With the approved concept and measurements as our guide, we move on to the fun part—sourcing. You’ll receive access to curated product selections, pricing, and sourcing details. As always, you maintain full approval power, with the flexibility to request changes along the way.

Final Presentation

Once you've approved the selections, we compile everything into a final, cohesive design. You’ll receive a comprehensive “To-Go-Box” package that includes renderings, dimensions, detailed shopping lists, and designer tips—everything you need to confidently bring the vision to life.

    The Full Course Open Concept includes up to 42 hours of Virutal Design Service.

    ***Open Concept projects exclude kitchens + another living space. Please sign any kitchen up as a solo Full Course project.

Answers to Common Questions

Procurement Through VHD

We’re thrilled to introduce our new procurement service as part of the relaunch of our Virtual Design offerings.

This means we can now go beyond designing your space—we’ll also handle the purchasing and ordering of most selected items on your behalf. We’ll track orders, manage shipping updates, and keep you informed every step of the way.

As this is an exciting new addition, we’ll be prioritizing clients who choose to include procurement in their design package.

If you’re interested, simply select “VHD, Please Shop For Me!” when choosing your package.

Please note:
– Package pricing covers design services only and does not include the cost of selected products.
– Procurement does not include window treatments or plumbing fixtures; these will need to be ordered by the client.
– Kitchen and bath projects are not yet eligible for procurement services—but stay tuned, they’re coming soon!
