Quick backstory: I went through a renovation boot camp of my own fixer-upper project; juggling roles of designer, project manager, and contractor's assistant for a full renovation of a 1926 Los Angeles bungalow (where I'm still located). Post reno-recovery, I went running for design school. I had fallen in love. With an intimate understanding of tight budgets and 'what's worth the splurge', I swear by a bit of 'vintage heart' in a room. With a love of color and pattern, I'm still a sucker for clean lines and the minimalist pursuit.
Coming from a background in business, visual storytelling and writing, I found home in Emily Henderson Design after a quick stint at UCLA studying Architectural Design. Combining all endeavors, for two years I juggled roles as creative producer, interior designer, writer and stylist with Emily Henderson. Currently, I'm wrapping up my role as producer, stylist and co-writer on Emily's second book. Her first book, Styled (appropriately-named since it's about home styling) was a New York Times Bestseller. Book Two, which will focus on design and aims to serve as design school cliff-notes for those who skip the program (or anyone who needs a field guide), will release in 2021.
Now, I'm diving into freelance-frenzy. Should we collaborate? Need some help? Don't be shy!
